Things to consider

When completing this survey please consider HRCC’s primary role in housing, which is to ensure sufficient land supply through the zoning of land in the right locations and land use planning approvals (permits). For other matters, Council can advocate for support (e.g. from State and Federal Governments) to help unlock housing diversity, innovation, rental supply, and essential worker housing.

The private construction sector delivers most new housing development and is impacted and influenced by housing market conditions.
